A message from Group Clergy: Adele, Elizabeth and Helen

The Church of England has announced that all public worship is suspended in light of the Coronavirus. For the Churches in The RNWK Group, this means that there will be, for the foreseeable future, no services in any of the Group Churches, that are open to Church members or members of the public to attend. In accordance with the guidelines issued by the Archbishops, the Clergy together will maintain a rhythm of Morning Prayer and Eucharistic Worship throughout each of our Churches, on a rota basis.

The Archbishops wrote that:

’Being a part of the Church of England is going to look very different, in the days ahead. Our life is going to be less characterised by attendance at Church on Sunday, and more characterised by the prayer and service we offer each day. We may not be able to pray with people in the ways that we are used to, but we can certainly pray for people. And we can certainly offer practical care and support.’

We will be in touch shortly offering details of available resources for Prayer and Worship, and we will also be working hard to coordinate Pastoral Care and service at Parish level.

Please be assured of our prayers at this time.

Blessings and Peace,

Adele, Elizabeth and Helen

We Are Still Here For You
I know that these days are difficult for many of you, in fact there has not been such a time as this during my lifetime, when we have experienced limitations on our day to day freedoms along with limited social contact.

I wanted you all to know that as Christians we are journeying through this together. Parish Notes has been revamped to provide resources for prayer and helpline numbers for local services. In addition, we have set up a Fawkham and Hartley and Longfield helpline, which is going to be administered by Christine Hoad, Gill Cramp and Steph Perfitt.

Details of this and the phone number to call if you need our help are included in the e- card.  Just click on the Card or Click Here for all the details

My prayer is that you may know the love and presence of the Lord with you in these days.
With Every Blessing,
