Good Friday Walk of Witness – 7th April 2022
Please join us for this walk of witness which is nearly six miles in total and has some walking on footpaths or across fields.
Alternatively meet us at one or more of the stopping points at the time shown to join together for song and prayer. Or maybe come for the quiet, reflective, ‘last hour’ service 2pm -3pm at Ridley.

9.00am – meet St Mary, Magdalene, Longfield for refreshment, use of the facilities and a short act of worship to set us on our way.
9.30am leave St Mary Magdalene, Longfield to St Mary, Fawkham – (0.9 miles) – 25 min (mostly downhill, through woods and across fields) arrive 10.am
10.10am leave St Mary, Fawkham to Fawkham & Hartley Church Centre – (0.9 miles) route mostly uphill, single track unmade path through woods arrive 10.40am
10.50am leave Fawkham & Hartley Church Centre – St Francis de Sales, Hartley – (0.5 miles) route along pavement arrive 11.10am
11.20am leave St Francis de Sales, Hartley to All Saints, Hartley – ( 1.8 miles) – route along pavement and made up road arrive 11.40am
11.50am leave All Saints, Hartley to St Peter & St Paul, Ash –( 1.8 miles) – route along made up road, unmade footpath across fields and through New Ash Green neighbourhoods arrive 12.40pm
At Ash we will have a drink, hot cross bun and a chance to use the facilities.
1.10pm leave St Peter & St Paul, Ash (1 mile) to walk across the fields and up the green hill to St Peter’s, Ridley for the ‘last hour’ service which will start at 2pm.
